How does Num Lock work on the F62?

The default layout for the F62 includes Num Lock between left alt and ctrl (Fn). What does it do? Having num lock on or off doesn’t appear to change any of the keyboard behavior.

Hi Brian, you are correct that it’s a default key that does not affect the F62. It can be changed to another function once your keyboard arrives. Maybe I should change it for the F62 keyboards?

The Menu / Right Click choice might be a top recommendation. If anyone has any other recommendations please feel free to post them here.

Making the default the context menu/right-click key probably makes the most sense. I think I will change it to that on my keyboard. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing out on anything, ha ha. Thanks!

Hi Brian,

I had a follow-up question re: remapping the Num Lock key. Did you implement the remapping on a QMK firmware board or a Xhwatsit’s firmware board. If it’s the former, I would really appreciate it if you had any pointers to get me started. Thanks!
