Yes and yes! Just note USB-C when ordering. It is always a good idea to have a spare controller once production has long shut down, in case of controller failure due to liquid damage, etc.

I found a cable that works well to convert my classic case units with micro USB on the controller side to USB-C on the outside. It also has a right angle plug on the micro end that faces the correct way and cleans up the inside nicely. Link here.
