F62 Function Key Locked

Hi,

I have a F62 Model F with HHKB style key layout that I have been using on Windows 11. It has entered a weird state where the function key appears to be \”locked\” i.e., the function key is permanently activated. I am not using any key-remapping programs.

I have tried re-seating the function key multiple times to see if that would help \”unlock\” the function key but that appears to not have made a difference. I have also tried to see if pressing CAPS LOCK + Function would lock/unlock the function key but that did not help either. This behavior is consistent between multiple Windows computers which is making me think that either the function key is somehow permanently being activated (hardware) or something got corrupted in the controller (software). Looking for any suggestions on troubleshooting this further!

We can close this. After leaving the keyboard unplugged for 10 minutes, somehow it started working correctly.

Please follow the troubleshooting section of the manual on the project web site. Seems like the flipper may be stuck. Especially check the pandrew utility to see if the values change when the spring is flicked by hand.
