As I want to overcome the limited available macro key storage space of vial, I have successfully adapted the http://purdea.ro/qmk_firmware to be used with latest QMK. After been out of sync for 4 years, a lot of things on the QMK side has been changed, so I choose to start a new keyboard directory to figure things out. Although I’ve only ported the features I use (e.g. only tested with beam spring r1, no solenoid), it is still worth to learn that no substantial modification to the actual code is required to get the code running with latest QMK features.
