Have been wanting to get one of these Brand New Model F units for a long time, but as a programmer really needed the Function keys. Somehow stumbled across a link to the F104 about 10 hours ago, and have been studying up on options and accessories ever since. Absolutely fantastic work on this, and hyper-congrats on the success you’re experiencing!
On to the question: Do I understand correctly that only Qty 5 blue units were produced, and if so are any left? Also, I saw in the description that there’s no guarantee of light blue vs dark blue if selecting the blue option when ordering, but just wondering if a few have already been scooped up if only the lights or darks were left. (I like them both, but if possible would like to know which one I’d be getting as it will affect the key color and some of the accessories I have in mind.

Glad you are joining the new project! Just two are left in the ultra compact form. You can get as many classic Model M style blue cases as you’d like. Sorry no I can’t say for sure which shade you’ll get. Please plan for either option.
Yes, the regular gray is a silver type anodized finish for the ultra compact F104/FSSK, similar to the old macbook pro laptops. There is a group photo in the product photos that also shows the silver color keyboard as well as the other keyboards.
Okay, thanks. One other question: The F104 ultra compact also shows as available in “Regular Gray”, and I see in the photo with the ten or so keyboards (with green captions) that two toward the left side are gray looking, but at least from this photo they appear to me almost like a shiny silver. Any chance you could point to another photo or two which shows the “Regular Gray” from another angle / different lighting? Thanks again!
