I recently discovered this project and I am happy that it’s still possible to place orders! But before I order I want to check a couple of things.
Is the Swe/Fin keycaps in Pearl/Pebble and are they made for this project or are they made by Unicomp (most reviewers seem to think that the caps made for the project are superior to the ones made by Unicomp).

Yes, they can be configured with a keyboard on any of the keyboard product pages, and also can be ordered on the “Full Key Set” product page.

They are pearl/pebble and made for this project. The ISO Enter keys are the only ones made by Unicomp (but sublimated with the rest of the new Model F keys at the factory) as I don’t have the mold for that key.
That sounds great, I have one more question if you don’t mind. Would it be possible to pay to have the bottom of the case signed by Ellipse himself?
Sure. Please specify whether you want the bottom of the case or the bottom of the inside steel plate, where IBM employees originally initialed for quality control checks on Model F keyboards. I think ordering 10 units of $1 increments should be OK for this.
I recommend the original IBM way, inside the keyboard on the bottom of the steel plate but it is up to you.
This is a bit off topic from my original question but I hope that you don’t mind.
I recently placed my order and can’t wait for it to arrive (though I understand that it will probably take a while). But a thought struck me, how long do you expect to be able to supply spare parts to the keyboards, would it be a good idea to stock up on spare parts like some extra caps and a spare controller (I already purchased the first aid kit).
And regarding the USB-cable, is it only the physical size of the connector that makes the official USB-C cable special, would a third party cable with the same physical dimensions work as well as the official one?

Yes I recommend ordering any extras for the future that may be needed, while the project is still running.
Other cables may work, but “smart” USB cables will not work.
Can I add some components (controller and some extra keycaps) to an existing order without having to pay for the postage twice?
