So my beamspring keyboard just arrived and for the most part it’s awesome. However I quickly noticed that one (and just one so far) key seems to stick. Which is to say, I press it down and it never comes back up unless I jiggle the keyboard around enough that it’s kind of knocked loose.
Any idea why this happens and suggestions for what to do about it? I could replace that switch of course but I’m wondering if there’s a way to fix it.
Yes David; I recommend that you watch the new beam spring setup video in the manual, which shows exactly how to fix that specific issue 🙂
In summary what you are experiencing is a normal part of the setup process and it is 100% fixable. The QC issue that caused this problem has been resolved for the Round 2 boards.
