I just wanted to follow-up and let you know that it is possible to remove them the same way you would remove the horizontal ones EXCEPT it is much harder and you have to be much more careful with doing it. The way I do mines; I would edge the left side, and pry slowly from the right side and be really careful with bending the upper part of the barrels. I have SLIGHTLY damaged a few of mine and it didn’t effect the way the keyboard feels at all; however iam not sure how much you can damage those barrels before it starts effecting the way it sounds and feels.
