Your post on Deskthority indicates that you have the following key mappings by default (and I have confirmed they work on my New Model F Enhanced AT style keyboard):
Esc–>Power
F1–>Brightness Down
F2–>Brightness Up
F6–>Media Stop
F7–>Media Prev
F8–>Media Play
F9–>Media Next
F10–>Media Mute
F11–>Vol Down
F12–>Vol Up
Print Screen–>Eject
Is there any possibility we can get corresponding keycaps for these alternate functions (preferably on the front of the keycap)? Some of the existing Macintosh keyset would work as well, but not all of them or I’d buy that set.
It would be nice to have these media icons + F key legends on the key caps, to match either the default layout mentioned above, or the Microsoft Surface Keyboard 2nd edition, or media F keys from one of the major OEMs (e.g. Dell KB700). I wonder if there might be broad interest enough to warrant a production run. I personally would be interested in white-on-black of such F keys if it’s available for a reasonable price.
