Hello, glad I could pick one of these (Ultra Compact Model F) up, lost my old Model F in a fire years ago and just havent had the funds until recently to even be able to buy one, so glad i found this project.
To state off the I did insert all the keycaps correctly (flip keyboard upside down and insert) and tested, they all registered and feel just like i remember. I saw that these keyboards support full N-key rollover but I am not getting that for sure, and I am not seeing anything in the manual regarding it aside from that it is supported, I usually test this by holding down both Shift Keys and typing the standard “The quick brown fox” sentence. On the Z row, Z registers, but the rest of the keys do not. Also not sure if it is a bug but if I press both Shift Keys down and then press the N key once or the B-key a few times, the keyboard just disconnects itself and requires a USB unplug and plug back in. Any help would be appreciated. If you have written up something about it in the manual, please point me there because i did not see it.
