Nope it will look correct on the production keyboards. Those keys are not the finalized ones. Brand new one piece key molds have been ordered for this project.
I am not sure what you mean. I suggest posting on the Geekhack/Deskthority forums for software/firmware related issues for the xwhatsit controller.

Will the board’s microcontroller ship with a configuration to allow a “NUMLK” key macro by default? I know you mentioned that it’s fully programmable, but is it saved to ROM, or will we need a third party app running to map the config? Thanks!
Will the 0 key also have the “Ins” text so that users could switch between numpad and function/arrow keys (via Num Lock) as on the original AT keyboard?
