So, I got my hands on this awesome keyboard recently. I went through the installation process for the solenoid, ensuring it was plugged in properly and flashed the firmware without any hiccups. Everything seems to be running smoothly, except for one snag – the solenoid isn’t registering my keystrokes when I type.
Now, here’s the thing – I’ve double-checked, and the solenoid is definitely receiving power. I can toggle it and hear it engage when I plug it in or press fn+spacebar+T. So, it’s not stuck or anything. Any ideas on what might be causing this hiccup? Appreciate any insights you might have!
note: on device manager the keyboard comes up as (HID Keyboard device)
My guess is that you flashed a firmware that was not provided directly in the zip file linked in the manual. If that is the case, the reason it is not working is described in the manual.
Please start over and flash the Vial firmware for your keyboard in the zip file, while following the instructions there.
