Hi! Trying to convert my F77 to Finnish/Swedish layout, and it requires 3 keys between “L” and Enter keys, so I have to change the Enter key to a vertical instead of horizontal one,
but to do that I also need to change the dummy position on the left side of the old Enter key into a working key, and the old 1.5-wide backslash/vertical bar key to a dummy one.
I haven’t been able to find instructions for how to swap key positions.
Yes this can definitely be done.
To switch this you would need to open up the keyboard inner assembly as shown in one of the videos in the manual. Then remove the stabilizer insert and add one flipper+spring to the left shift area. Then remove the insert from the Enter key. Then move the flipper+spring from the key above the ANSI enter key to the barrel from which you just removed the insert.
Be careful to follow the initial setup instructions in the manual to install the vertical (black) stabilizer insert in the correct orientation for the ISO Enter key.
OK, done that, and everything is OK, except for a serious problem – neither “Ctrl” (left and right) do anything. Every other key works just fine.

Thanks! Managed to disassemble and reassemble everything, only to realize I need to do the same to convert the left shift to a shorter key and put in a flipper and spring in the right hand hole (to give space for the “, |” key between shift and Z…
Will leave that to tomorrow…
